Emed was born on the 4th of January, 2013. As a team, it was formed to champion projects that will bring to a fore, a unique economics department of madonna university. The founder is Isaac Jacob Omosimua flanked by 27 founding members. The body has come to stay and with positive transformation, the body apart from project execution, has turned academic.
